Avotek's Airframe Structures Textbook, is the second in a series of four textbooks written for the beginning aviation maintenance student in accordance to standard A&P part 147 curriculum. The airframe structures section details the basic layout, maintenance and repair of metal, composite, fabric, and wood aircraft structures. Additional chapters on welding, paint and finish, corrosion control, rotorcraft structures, and ground handling and service equipment complete this section of the airframe curriculum. This is a well written book with clear drawings and photos, and does a good job explaining aircraft powerplant systems in an intuitive and understandable way.
