Author Biography: Mort Mason has written about Alaska hunting, sport fishing, and back country flying for more than 25 years. Mason flew for 18,000 plus hours in the formidable and unforgiving outback of the Alaska bush country. He and his wife, Peggy, started the successful periodical, "Alaska Outdoors"; he has also written several short stories of the mystery and suspense genre, and articles about the Alaska outback. This is his first book; his next is in progress. Although he's semi-retired, Mason occasionally tows banners along the golden beaches of the Atlantic Ocean.
