Robinson R-22
Helicopter Pilot's Guide
by John Swan
Robinson R-22 Pilots Guide is an invaluable companion to the aircraft's Flight Manual and an excellent sourcebook for the aircraft's principal characteristics.
This guide covers all R22s from the standard through HP, Alpha, Beta and Mariner, to the Beta II and Mariner II. The R22 Beta II and Mariner II are powered by the Lycoming 0-360 series engine, whereas all other R22s are powered by the Lycoming 0-320 series engine, both engines being de-rated to 124HP for continuous use.
Subjects covered in detail include an overall description of the aircraft, limitations, handling characteristics, and loading/performance data. All the information is gleaned from flying experiences by experts in the industry and is presented in an easy-to-read format.
