Instrument Test Guide
The Jeppesen version places the answers on the right side of the page making it easy to hide them while reading the questions. Supplemental material is presented with each question. References are mainly to the Jeppesen textbooks.
The actual and entire test bank for the FAA Instrument written test and the Instrument Instructor written test. All question graphics, the correct answers, detailed explanations, and study references are included for each question. Your actual test will be a random assortment of these same questions. Full color charts identical to those on the FAA test are included in the book as are all FAA test appendices and references.
As of mid 2011, FAA no longer provides the actual questions that appear on your tests. While the questions appearing in this test guide are similar to, and cover the same material as those on the actual test, they are no longer word to word identical. The questions in this guide and others come from 3 primary sources:
1] Sample questions provided by FAA from years 2011 and later.
2] Questions from actual FAA test banks from years prior to 2011.
3] Questions written by publishers to fill in topics not covered by actual FAA samples.
