Common Troubleshooting Tips
What computer platforms are my USB Flash Drive compatible with?
At this time, the Class in a Flash USB is only compatible with Windows XP, Vista and 7.
I inserted the USB drive into my Windows computer and a pop-up message did not appear.
If the document pop-up window does not appear when you insert the USB into your computer, open the pop-up window manually by following these steps:
- Open Windows Explorer (right click on the Start button in the lower left of your screen and select Explore)
- On the left panel of the Explore window, under My Computer, click on the USB drive with your left mouse button
- On the right panel, double click on PDFOPEN.EXE to open the pop-up window manually
- Click on the eBook you want to read and select Open
When I close my eBook and try to open a new one I get an error message.
Make sure when you close an eBook, you are opening the new eBook from the "PDFOPEN" pop-up window and not from within the FoxIt Reader. If the pop-up window closes, open it manually by following these steps:
- Open Windows Explorer (right click on the Start button in the lower left of your screen and select Explore)
- On the left panel, under My Computer, click on the USB drive with your left mouse button
- On the right panel, click on PDFOPEN.EXE to open the pop-up window manually
- Click on the eBook you want to read
How do I safely remove the USB device from my computer?
Go to the notification area in the task bar on the bottom right of your screen. Click the checked USB icon and then click "Safely Remove Hardware".
